A little bit about us
Thatcham Pre-School (formally known as Thatcham Playgroup, opened in 1966) is one of the longest established Pre-Schools in Thatcham, We are a UK registered charity and committee run Pre-School that is regulated by OFSTED and members of the Pre-School Learning Alliance.
You can find us at The Burdwood Community Centre, Wheelers Green Way, Thatcham RG19 4YA, this is conveniently situated within walking distance from local bus routes, Thatcham town centre and the Train station .

What We Offer
At Thatcham Preschool we provide a fun educational setting for children aged 2 to 5 years old.
We take into account the children's interests and plan activities that we know they will enjoy, in order for them to thrive and learn through play. Everyday the children have access to art & craft activities, Physical activities, a role play area and also a sensory activity, as well as also offering sand and water play.
Children are able to have free flow between the inside and outdoor space (weather dependant) on a daily basis.

To provide a caring, secure stimulating and happy environment in which all our children can flourish.To include and Value the contribution of all families.
To offer children the opportunity to develop physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually.

Thank you, Thatcham Preschool, for taking such great care of Jessica over the last couple of years. She always comes home happy and smiling and full of stories from what she has been up to during the day! I have seen my little girl grow in such confidence and she is always willing to try new things.
Thank you all so much for taking care of our little man. I know he has found being away from Mummy difficult at times and you have all always been very supportive of what he needs. You have worked with me on his lunchbox struggles and come up with great suggestions for alternatives healthy options to sandwiches!
